Plano-Convex Lenses

Plano-Convex (PCX) lenses with positive focal length are well-suited for imaging applications and are also useful in emitters, detectors, lasers, and fiber optics. They have one convex surface and are commonly used in various industries including industrial, pharmaceutical, robotics, and defense. For maximum efficiency, the plano surface of the lens should face the desired focal plane. Visopto offers PCX lenses with a range of coating and substrate options, including anti-reflection coatings for UV, IR, and other wavelengths, as well as coatings designed for specific laser wavelengths. Germanium, silicon, and zinc selenide substrates are recommended for IR applications.
